American Attitude towards Muslims after 9/11

After 9/11 Muslims all over the world were targeted as terrorists, and many faced hardships which ranged from name calling to life-threatening attacks. Many Muslims in the US already suffered a lot of pain after being forced from their homelands. They came to America to live a better life and perhaps to find liberty, freedom of speech, and security. The attack was done by single person but its consequences were shared by thousands. The terrorist who crashed the plane received training in America and were one of the best pilots of the institute. Muslims were dragged out of their peaceful lives and were brutally tortured; they were kept in special jails facing both physical and mental tortures. They were forced to admit that they were involved in terrorist activities or had contacts with terrorists. Most of them had to leave the nation after facing severe boycotts in every field or to go underground or even change their religion. Those who tried to oppose the brutal act were either tried or declared terrorists and even sentenced lifetime imprisonment. A single incident turned the lives of many people upside down, ruining all their dreams, passions and possessions.
